Groundheat is proud to sponser "2013 Night of Distortion" to be held at the Corkin Gallery on November 16th, 2013.

This event is a Surrealist inspired costume party encouraging uninhibited expression, free association and the juxtaposition of opposing realities combined with an exhibit drawn from a private collection of Surrealist photographs featuring Distortion works from 1933 by Andre Kertesz, curated by Jane Corkin.

All proceeds of this event will be to benefit The Immune Therapy Research Fund at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
The Cape Farewell Foundation is a North American charity that promotes a cultural response to climate change, and is presenting Carbon 14: Climate is Culture Exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum, which runs from October 19, 2013 through to February 2, 2014.

The featured subjects include explorations of a changing Arctic, the health of oceans, biodiversity and extinction, sustainability and new, clean technologies.  All of which Groundheat is  proud to promote and sponsor.

On September 17, 2013, the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO) held its 2nd Annual Italian-Canadian Open Golf  Tournament at Lionhead Golf & Country Club in Brampton.

Buffi and Dave Wronka’s house is well known locally as “The White House” of the Oro-Medonte Artisan tour…now it will be known for something else as well!  Buffi and Dave believe strongly in protecting the environment, and in green heating and cooling solutions.  So much so, that when they built their house 23 years ago, they installed a Geothermal groundsource heat pump system and did away with fossil fuels.  Now, 23 years later, they are updating that system, and adding solar panels to their implement shed, taking their green power to the next level!
